About
Since 1938, Goodwill Industries of Northeast Indiana has provided vocational evaluation; job readiness training; job placement and support
to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment in the ten counties of northeast Indiana.
Donations are sold in our stores with the revenue supporting our employment services.
Goodwill’s service delivery is designed to understand employers’ needs while matching those needs to the skills and abilities of our clients. While in Goodwill’s program, clients acquire the necessary skills to increase their marketability, advance in their positions, have the ability to make new choices or seek a new career.
We serve adults with disabilities and disadvantages who are referred by Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Social Security's Ticket to Work program. Our focus is on total integration into the community at competitive wages rather than sheltered workshops.
