HELP WANTED The City of Columbia City (Indiana) has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for the Parks Department. This position is the head of Maintenance and on-sight supervision. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees Park summer help, park laborers, small groups and landscaping. Surveys park properties for problems and improve- ments and makes recommendations to Park Superintendent of improvements needed to park facilities and equipment. Also responsible for daily and weekend upkeep and improvements of all park facilities and land in addition to maintaining and repairing park vehicles, equipment, grounds, buildings and facilities (bathrooms). Valid driver's license required. Applicant must be able to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license within 1 year; Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management from a four-year college or university preferred.
